Blue Orkids Goldington Nursery

Blue Orkids Goldington Nursery is based within the Goldington area. The nursery is a ground floor leveled nursery consisting of 3 separate rooms. We offer a home from home environment with a variety of activities to support the children's learning, development and personal interests. Each day is different and providing new learning opportunities for children. The garden area is used as a continuous provision allowing the children to develop their independence and physical development through meaningful choices. Part of the garden is a decking area which is shaded allowing all children to explore the outdoor area during adverse weather. Encouraging independence is important within the nursery to allow each child to feel valued and build their self confidence, this is achieved by celebrating cultural festivals and many more.

We have a team of experienced practitioners who are able to look after and support children with variety of additional needs, SEND and children who are learning English as an additional language.

Practitioners attend training regularly and learn new strategies they implement in the setting that benefit children. Staff focus closely on children individual learning goals and needs and use this knowledge to provide children with stimulating and engaging activities.
