Blue Orkids Queens Park community Nursery

Queens Park Community Nursery is located on the west side of Bedford, and offers full daycare for children aged 2 to 5 years. The nursery is located next to Queens Park Academy School and Queens Park Family Hub, which very much supports the child’s key transitions from birth to school.

Blue Orkids took over ownership of the Nursery in April 2023, and are excited to be part of a strong community network. We are registered with Ofsted as the provider and are awaiting our first inspection.

Queens Park Community Nursery provides a secure and loving space for children and families to grow, we have a 'home from home' feel to our nursery where children have the opportunity to develop in a caring, supportive and challenging environment to develop to their full potential. We recognise that each stage of a child’s development has unique characteristics that influence how a child will experience his or her environment, which will determine the direction of their brain development. 

We have a team of experienced practitioners who are able to look after and support children with variety of additional needs, SEND and children who are learning English as an additional language.

Practitioners attend training regularly and learn new strategies they implement in the setting that benefit children. Staff focus closely on children individual learning goals and needs and use this knowledge to provide children with stimulating and engaging activities.
