Little Rosebuds Playgroup and support groups for parents/carers

Reaching out to any parents/guardians of little ones aged 0 to 5 who have had a difficult and different journey. Living in and out of hospital going from one appointment to the next.

Maybe you already have a genetic diagnosis or waiting for results. Maybe you child has feeding tubes, is on oxygen or have physical disabilities. Mainstream groups can be hard to attend when your little has medical equipment and different to others. We have started a playgroup for those little ones and their parents to come along to. We have sensory area and toys for the little ones that they will love, also most importantly, a safe and welcoming space to meet and speak to other parents going through similar experiences.

No referral is needed to attend please contact  the organiser to confirm if the playgroup meets the requirements of the childs need and it is aimed at medically complex children with medical equipment or that need a safe space to lay so not all children will meet the requirements. 

It is free to attend but contributions welcomed to help with the cost of tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits and new equipment needed.  

Numbers will be limited to ensure we have enough space for everyone so its important to contact the organiser to confirm attendance. 

Its a support group for parents as much as it is for the little ones. We have a sensory room set up and plenty of space to lay little ones down on mats and blankets.
