ALTR RISE have developed a variety of Educational Intervention Programmes and workshops aimed at meeting the needs of young people who may struggle with Communication and Interaction, Social, Emotional, Mental Health, Communication and Interaction or simply be disengaged with education and require support to raise aspiration, build confidence and gain some direction and purpose and support to solid platform for future pathways.

 

Level Up is a programme of exciting and engaging preparation for work activities specifically designed by the trained SENDCo and Mental Health Coach to assist young people who maybe be currently disengaged or lacking aspiration and confidence.  They may have low self-esteem, anxiety or need assistance to progress in life, within education, training or community access.

Participants will begin a unique work based placement plan that is adapted and delivered to meet the bespoke needs of the young people. Where ever their starting point, ALTR RISE will prepare them for a work experience placement and support them to thrive in the world of work.

 

PLACEMENTS range from hair and beauty, childcare. Animal welfare, princes trust, digital skills, residential care, voluntary sector, retail, hospitality, education, and the world of theatre. Opportunities are growing as we expand our search, creating a platform to employment for all.  

 

Level Up will:

• Try out career ideas and discover strengths, values, motivations and interests.
• Meet new people and develop relationships Identify any reasonable adjustments that may be required.
