The Lodge Pre-School

We pride ourselves on our caring, understanding and friendly approach to aid all children in enjoying their time at playgroup and learning throught their play whilst learning about being sensitive to others and learning basic values and respect for people and property.
Our premises are self contained and only used by the Pre-School, which gives us the advantage of being able to display the children's work to show appreciation and value for all they do. We have storage space for numerous toys and activities to ensure we aid the children in gaining knowledge, under all the six learning goals. The small nature of the playgroup gives a very homely environment where children tend to feel more relaxed. We also have our own safe, enclosed garden giving the children an opportunity, most days, for outdoor play using a wide range of toys, equpiment and activities.

The Lodge Pre-Schools aim is:
To provide high quality care and education for children aged between 2years and 5 years old, to work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop; and to offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and diversity.
As a member of the Lodge Pre-School, your child:
Is in a safe and stimulating environment, is given generous care and attention due to our high ratio of adults to children (1 adult: 5 children), has the opportunity to join other children and adults to, play, work and learn together, is helped to take forward his/her learning development, building on what he/she already knows and can do and has a personal keyworker who makes sure your child makes satisfying progress.
