Transition Guidance for Committee Members and Governors.

Whether children are moving to school for the first time or moving year groups, transition can be a time of uncertainty for all parties involved, particularly for the child. However, a successful transition can support the child to flourish and feel they belong.

In Bedford Borough we have encompassed the Unicef model for readiness for school, ‘Ready Child, Ready Family and Ready School’.
